Course Description:
This course provides 2 days of in-person learning and practice. I always love to say, “It’s about the animals and the humans that love them!” To me the “it” is love, compassion, communication and healing. One of the most wonderful benefits of Reiki is stress relief.
This course is unique, because after the in-person class, you will always have access to the class materials in the Animal Paradise Communication & Healing University.
Reiki I is a prerequisite for Reiki II with Animals and all other Animal Reiki courses.

Session 1
You will learn and experience:
- What the system of Traditional Japanese Reiki is and how it works
- What your own energy feels like, and how another’s energy feels different from yours. This is called sensing Ki
- The Reiki precepts and how to include animals
- Traditional meditations and techniques, including Kenyoku Ho, Joshin Kokyu Ho and how to include animals
- Reiki hands-on, self-treatment and how to include animals
- Reiki seated treatment for a human and how to include animals
- We will have animal teachers to practice with
Session 2
You will learn and experience:
- How to work on a deeper level with the Reiki Precepts and include animals
- Reiki “table treatment” for humans and how animals can be included
- How to offer Reiki to animals in an ethical way, both in-person and at a distance
- We will have animal teachers to practice with
You will receive:
- Shoden Reiki I with Animals Manual
- Reiki Level I Practitioner Certificate
This Course Will Help You:
- Deepen your connection with your animal companions while
learning gentle ways to heal and support yourself and others. - Experience the joy of being able to just BE with your animal companion and let go of any stress or worries. When we relax, we can begin to heal.
- Feel more grounded and centered.
- Relax your body and quiet your busy mind.
- Create a space where healing can take place.
- Offer a Reiki session to yourself, family, friends, and animals
In this In-Person workshop, you’ll receive:
- A 100-page Shoden: Reiki I for humans and animals manual
- A beautiful Shoden: Reiki I practitioner certificate
- Access to all course information and additional recorded guided meditations to practice with your own animal companions at home, via the Animal Paradise – Communication & Healing University platform.

What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word that literally translates as “Spiritual Energy”. “Ki” in Japanese is the same as “Chi” in Chinese. You have most likely heard of Chi. Ki is the energy that flows through all living things and is known as the life force.
There are many modern schools of Reiki. I teach and practice the system of Traditional Japanese Reiki. Most people think of Reiki as hands on healing, but there is so much more to the practice. The System of Reiki is made up of 5 elements: Meditations, The Reiki Precepts, Symbols & Mantras, Reiju & hands on healing.

Practicing the system of Traditional Japanese Reiki had changed every aspect of my life and taken me on a beautiful path with animals that I could never have imagined.
I can’t wait to share the system of Traditional Japanese Reiki with you. I love to see the change in each person from the first morning to the end of the course… it makes my heart smile. Eyes are brighter and there seems to be a beautiful and gentle glow radiating from each person as the workshop concludes.
I also love seeing the response of our animal teachers to the group that begins to evolve the moment we begin to gather on the first day of the workshop.

Refund Policy:
All workshop and distant Reiki session monies are NON-refundable unless Animal Paradise – Communication & Healing, LLC cancels the course or treatment session. If cancellation is made prior to one week before the workshop, the monies may be applied to a future workshop or Animal Reiki Session. Exceptions to the policy may be made on a case-by-case basis.
